GENEVA - Mary 'Bumbie' L. Campbell, 81, passed away peacefully on Wed. (Jan. 2, 2013), at Geneva General Hospital, with her family by her side.
In honoring her wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Mon. (Jan. 7), at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Geneva. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Mary was born on Nov. 14, 1931 in Geneva, N.Y. and was a daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Marciano) Manino. She graduated from De Sales High School and attended the Freeman Business School. Mary worked for many years in the badge office at the Seneca Army Depot. Upon retirement, she went to work for St. Francis De Sales – St. Stephen's School as the lunch monitor, creating many precious and long lasting relationships with the students. Mary was known to have a great sense of humor and enjoyed being around people. She loved to cook and was a member of St. Francis De Sales Church in Geneva. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she supported them in all of their activities.
She is survived by her son, John P. Campbell, Jr. of Geneva; daughter, Cindy Campbell of Geneva; brothers, Leo Manino of Geneva and Alfred (Sylvia) Manino of Seneca Falls; sister, Dorothy Manino of Geneva; grandchildren, Scott and Cory Ludwig; special niece, JoAnn Harrison of Geneva and several other nieces and nephews and cousins.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, John 'Jerry' P. Campbell, Sr.; brothers, Frederick 'Chickie', Ralph 'Torp', Anthony and Daniel Manino; and sister, Kathryn Mariangelo.
