Savannah - Passed away on Sunday (December 30, 2012), age 72, following a brief illness.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 13081 West Church Street in Savannah. His Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Patrick's Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish) Grand Avenue in Savannah.
Ken's family has requested that in lieu of flowers, you consider a donation in his memory to the American Cancer Society , 1120 Goodman Street South, Rochester, NY 14620.
A lifelong area resident, he was born in Lyons, son of John and LaVerna Boyer King.
Ken was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, He was an avid supporter of the sports programs at Clyde-Savannah, never missing a game or other sports activity that his grandchildren were involved in.
Ken is survived by son, Kristopher King; daughter, Katharine (Martin) Wright; fiance, Rhonda Rieke; grandchildren, Kenneth (Mariah), Lauren and Derrick; great-grandchild, Morgan; brothers and sisters, Donald (Carolyn) King, Carol (V. Joseph) Tiberio, Bonnie (Erich) Hartman, Norman (Karen) King; several nieces, nephews and a lifetime of friends.
