JORDAN | Elaine Yawney Davis, 64, a lifelong Jordan resident went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Crouse Hospital. Elaine spent her career in the insurance industry. She retired from St. Paul Insurance Company/Travelers after 35 years. Later, she worked for Mid-State Mutual in Auburn and the Hanover Insurance Co. in Syracuse. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Stephanie Yawney. Surviving is her husband, Terrance Davis and her brother, Robert Yawney. She is also survived by loving aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, in St. Patrick's Church, Jordan. Friends and family are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at the Bush Funeral Home, 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5), Elbridge. Contributions may be made to the Jordan Ambulance Fund or the Francis House.
