GENEVA - Eldon A. Jensen, 56, of Geneva, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family after a two and half year battle with Cancer.
Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St. on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday (December 22) in the funeral home with the Rev. Manilla Owen Pastor of the Seneca Castle United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Wilmot Cancer
Center at Strong Memorial Hospital, The Ontario Yates Hospice or to a
Humane Society of one's choice.
Eldon was born in Sidney, Nebraska the son of James and Sara Miranda Jensen, and has been a resident of this area for many years. He was employed with ITT industries in Seneca Falls, was a member of Steel workers Local. He was an avid dirt modified racer and was a NASCAR enthusiast. He loved all animals and loved spending time with his puppies, Taz, Tinker and Cooper. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife and family. He was a member of the Seneca Castle United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Nellis Johnson Jensen; his
parents, James and Sara Jensen of Waterloo; his sons, Carl (Patricia
Phillips) Johnson of Potter; Christopher (Kayla Miller) Jensen of Waterloo;
his daughters, Elisha (Richard) Gulvin of Seneca Castle, Nicole Jensen of
Outer Banks, N.C., Jody Jensen of Outer Banks, N.C.; his brother, Darrald
(Cara-Leigh Battaglia) Jensen of Seneca Falls; sister, Cynthia (Valerie)
Jensen of Waterloo; best friend, Dan Pierson; seven grandchildren, Joseph
Johnson, Jessica Gulvin, Bethany and Rochel Phillips, Cayla Norman, Cierra Norman and Ceyana Mosher; several nieces and nephews.
