AUBURN | Lewis J. “Jimmy� White III, 78, of Auburn, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012. Born in Mottville, the son of the late, Lewis and Margaret Fraser White, he was a retired sheet metal worker for Local 58 in Syracuse. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a member of the SK American Legion Post 1324 in Auburn. Surviving are his children, Brenda Galloway, Michelle White, Suzanne Smith, Lewis J. White IV and Terrance White; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was a proud father and grandfather. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec 14, at the Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, 49 Jordan St., Skaneateles. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Skaneateles. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association .
