PORT GIBSON - John Parker, 74, died Friday (November 30, 2012) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday (December 3) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Burial will be in the Palmyra Cemetery.
He was born June 12, 1938 in Rochester, the son of Charles E. and Elizabeth Callahan Parker. John lived in the area al his life. He enjoyed bowling, train and boat rides and especially his extensive record collection.
John is survived by his sister, Ann Krebbeks; a nephew, Michael Krebbeks; two nieces, Michelle Krebbels and Melanie (Richard) Clingerman all of Newark; and a cousin, Mary Agnes Vecchio of Las Vegas, N.V.; and his many friends within the Ontario ARC Family.
