GENEVA – Diane M. Legott, 74, of N. Genesee St. passed away on Saturday (November 24, 2012) in Geneva General Hospital.
Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home on Wednesday, (November 28) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday (November 29) in the funeral home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial will be in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to the American Diabettes Foundation.
Diane was born in Auburn, N.Y. and resided in Seneca Falls for several years before moving to Geneva. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Corrine Clark Kuykendall. She was formerly employed at Elston Electronics and Hobart College. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, Class of 1956 and was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She was a member of "The Girls" of Mynderse.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Nicholas R. Legott Sr.; four sons, Joseph (Joanne) Legott of Geneva, Mark (Jennifer) Legott of Seneca Falls, Nicholas R. (Christine) Legott Jr. of Geneva and Jason (Josselyn) Legott of Colorado; her brother, Robert Kuykendall of Seneca Falls; and five grandchildren, Catherine, Shannon, Marissa, Jacob and Zoe Beth; several nieces and nephews.
