WATERLOO - Awanda M. Arndt, 83, passed away Saturday (November 24, 2012) at Geneva General Hospital.
Friends and family are invited to call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday (November 26) and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 27) at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with The Rev. Thomas Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the South Lyons Cemetery.

Awanda was born on June 21, 1929 in Waterloo the daughter of the late Floyd and Beatrice O'Dell - Goodman. She worked at the Seneca Knitting Mill in Seneca Falls and then as a nurses Aide at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo.
She was a member of the Farm Bureau and life member of North Seneca Sportsman's Club. She enjoyed gardening, doing crafts, country music and dancing. Her biggest joy in life was spending time with family and friends, being a social butterfly that she was.
Awanda is survived by her daughter, Gloria (James) Ferguson; sons, Harry (Wendy) and Howard (Holly Moran) Arndt all of Waterloo; brothers, Gordon (Onnie) of Waterloo and LaVerne Goodman of Cato; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Anne Griffin of Syracuse; a special friend, Linda Davis of Geneva; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John C; Great-grandchildren, Crystal Ketchum and Chloe Ann Slomski; a sister-in-law, Sue Goodman; a brother-in-law Harry Griffin.
Awanda will always be remembered for her laugh.
