LATROBE, Pa. | Edward L. Quick, 63, of Latrobe, Pa., passed away Monday Oct. 8, 2012 at Westmoreland Hospital. Edward was born in Auburn, the son of Effa Wilt Warsevecz and the late Charles H. Quick. Edward was a U.S marine Vietnam war veteran. Edward was employed at Auburn Memorial Hospital for over 15 years as a nurses aid. He enjoyed spending his time researching family and historical history, diving into a good book, and using his metal detector equipment to find hidden objects. Surviving are three brothers, Edwin C. Quick and his wife Michelle, of Waterloo, John and Pat Warsevecz, of Moravia, several cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his father, Edward was predeceased by his sister, Ethel Lawton; brother-in-law, Sanford Lawton; companion, Sonya; and stepfather, Chester Warsevecz. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn, with a service following at 7 p.m. with the Rev. John Forgham officiating. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 19, at Soule Cemetery, Sennett.
