Inez Irene Herod Loving wife, mother and grandmother STANLEY - Inez Herod, age 93, died on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at her home. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Finger Lakes Visiting Nurse Service, Gorham Historical Society and Gorham Free Library. Inez was born in Strong, Maine, and was the daughter of the late Montell and Bessie Gray. She married Milford "Milt" Herod in 1938. She was very dedicated to her family and enjoyed reading, gardening and preserving various foods. She was a member of the New York Farm Bureau. Inez is survived by five children, Walter "Walt" Herod of Florida, Alma (George) Harford of Stanley, Alicia "Jeanne" Flook of Gorham, Gordon (Patricia) Herod of Stanley and Anita (John) Kriese of Branchport; 17 grandchildren; several great- and great-great-grandchildren; and special cat friend, "Tiny". Inez was predeceased by her son, Arthur "Artie" Herod in 1968; husband, Milt in 1996; and granddaughter, Elizabeth. Arrangements are by Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home, Gorham.
