AUBURN | Marjorie E. Sherman, 85, of Auburn, died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012. She was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late Claude and Florence Hart. She was a homemaker who enjoyed bowling and Bunko, visiting the Grand Ole Opry, camping, and being with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Darlene M. (Larry) Treat, and Sheila D. Ellinwood; three sons, Gregory A. (Diana) Sherman, Jeffrey V. (Linda) Sherman, and Larry E. Sherman; and her grandchildren, Greg Sherman, Hillary Teller, Jody Catalone, Jennifer (Austin) Holbrook, Brian Bushnell, Bridget Reilly, Michele (Jason) Barnes, Marsha (Danny) Caskey, Bruce Sherman, Amanda (Dan) Sitterly, and Christopher (Jessica) Carpenter, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Sherman in 2002. “The Family wishes to thank the staff at Mercy Rehab for the care and kindness they extended to Marjorie.� Funeral services for Mrs. Sherman will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fort Hill Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, 42 E. Genesee St., Auburn.
