NEW HOPE | Charles L. Nye, 67, of North Glen Haven Road, New Hope, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 in University Hospital, Syracuse. Charlie was born Oct. 14, 1944, son of the late Gerald and Doris Nye. After attending school in Moravia, he became a truck driver. Friends are invited to join Charlie's wife, Marilyn, and his family in a celebration of his life between 2 and 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Moravia Fire House, 38 Keeler Ave. To honor Charlie's wishes there will be no calling hours. Friends wishing to may contribute to Three Town Fire District, Moravia Fire Department or the Four Town First Aid Squad. Arrangements are with the Wade Funeral Home, Moravia.
