GENEVA - Rev. Thomas L. Dubbs, 74, of Pre-Emption Rd., passed away unexpectedly on Monday (October 1, 2012) in Geneva General Hospital.
Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., on Sunday (October 7) from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday (October 8) in the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tao Kun Kim, Pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, in his memory, may be made to the Living Memorial Fund of the First United Methodist Church.
Tom was born in Geneva and was a lifelong resident of this area. He was the son of the late Francis and Jeanne Douglas Dubbs. He was a graduate of Geneva High School Class of 1956 and Morrisville State College. He was retired from International Paper and was an active minister in several churches in the area. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church where he was a former lay leader and was a member of the Church Choir.
He is survived by two sisters, Kathryn Davids of Geneva and Carol Fossel of Waterloo; his aunt, Mary L. Joseph of Geneva; and nieces and nephews, Michael, Robert and Brian Davids, Amy Thrower and Karen French; great-nephews, Mark and Jamie French and several other great-nieces, nephews and cousins.q
