SCIPIO CENTER | Mr. Walter H. “Bubba� Stotler, 59, of Scipio Center, died on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. Walter was born in Auburn on Jan. 7, 1953 the son of Hugh and Lois Rice. He was a highly skilled woodworker, tractor and car mechanic. Throughout his life he had worked as a construction worker in CNY and loved to build, work on and paint tractors. As a gifted woodworker he had owned Wallywood Productions in Scipio Center where he crafted specialty furniture. He is survived by his wife: Ellie Stotler, of Scipio Center; three children, Denise J. Stotler, Steven A. Stotler (Christal), Mary E. Stotler, all of Auburn; 12 grandchildren; six siblings, Ralph Stotler (Linda), of Maryland, Janet Bartholomew (Butch), of Michigan, Evelyn Boundy (Norman), of Elmira, Theresa Stotler (Ed Eggleston), of Auburn, Cindy Scrivens, of Michigan, Angela Breese (Arthur), of Auburn; Many nieces and nephews. Along with his mother and father he was predeceased by twin sons, Christopher and Walter; a sister, Katherine Meyers; and brothers, Charlie and Harry. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at Farrell's Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 in the funeral home. Interment will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Union Springs.
