Clyde - Howard James Snyder passed away at home on Friday (March 14) after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 60 years old.
Family and friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday (March 20) and from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday (March 21) at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. His funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception for family and friends at the Alton Fire Department.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family can be made in care of Norton Funeral Home.
Howard was the son of Henry and Constance (Fye) Snyder and was born on Saturday, June 27, 1953. He worked at Berry Plastics in Macedon for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his granddaughter Natalie.
Howard is survived by his significant other, Laura Rooker; his son, William (Norma) Snyder; step- children, Joshua (Tiera) Rooker, Jennifer (Brad) Labulis, Misty and Amber Snyder; sisters, Wanda (Bruce) Beal, Juanita (Joseph) Cimineri, Tammy (Russell) Welkley, Precious Snyder, Kimberly McMahon; brothers, Henry (Terri) Snyder, Kevin Snyder, Robert Snyder, Keith (Kim) Gardner; step-mother June Snyder; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Howard was pre-deceased by his parents and his sister Susan Singletary.
