Geneva- Norman Lee Ward, age 85 of Geneva passed away on Thursday (February 13, 2014) at the Seneca Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo.
There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Friday (Feb.21) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church. Burial with full Military Honors will follow the Mass in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Norman was born August 18, 1928 in Glade Springs, VA., the son of the late William and Mary Cannon Ward. He served in the US Air Force during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Norman retired after many years from the Athletic Department at Hobart and William Smith College. He was very proud of his children and grand -children. He enjoyed and loved watching all college sports.
He is survived by his four children; Deborah (Steven) Fenner of LaTrobe, Penn, Donna (Salvatore) Guglielmino of Victor, Thomas (Maureen) Ward of Waterloo, and Ronald Ward of Los Angeles, Calif; grandchildren; Steven and Chris Fenner, T.J. ( Kelly) Ward, Jason ( Theresa) Ward, Salvatore (Amy) Guglielmino and Carmelo Guglielmino; great-grandchildren; Steven Fenner III, Sophia Guglielmino, Isabella Ward and Chase Thomas Ward.
Norman was predeceased by his wife, Marie Rose Ward, and a brother William.
