Seneca Falls- Virginia D. Schreck, 79, formerly of Seneca Lake Terrace, passed away February 13, 2014 at Huntington Living Center with her family by her side.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday ( Feb 18), 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 97 W. Bayard St. Seneca Falls with Rev. Jim Fennessey, celebrant. Spring interment will be in St. Columbkille cemetery.

She was born in Ithaca, N.Y. the daughter of Franz and Alice Leonard Maine on 08-03-34. She lived most of her life in the Seneca Falls area. Virginia worked at Goulds Pumps for a short period of time before choosing to stay at home and raise her family. She returned to work as a Receptionist for many years at the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls. She enjoyed attending opera and stage shows, her class reunions and had a great love for animals and the outdoors. A communicate of St. Patrick's Church and a Life Member of Red Jacket Auxiliary. Virginia loved her gardening and sewing.
Survived by her children; David (Veronica) Draheim, Seneca Falls, Donald (Ellen) Draheim, Newark, Lyn (Bill) Rezebek, Buffalo, Susan (James) DeSanto, Seneca Falls; step-children, Michael (Jennifer) Schreck, Conn., William (Mary) Goralski, Balston Spa, James Schreck, Geneva; a sister, Lois Vorhis, S.C.; step-father, Ralph Tyler of Virginia; and a step-brother, Jack Tyler of Cortland;7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her first husband, Richard R. Draheim on Jan. 12, 1989 and her second husband Richard T. Schreck on May 5, 2012,and a brother Franz Maine Jr.
Virginia's arrangements are under the care of the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc. 32 State St. Seneca Falls, N.Y.
