Kory Rauscher, 26, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning,(January 3, 2014) as a result of a snowmobile accident. Friends and family are invited to call Sunday, (January 5) from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. A Funeral Mass will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Saint Mary's Church.The family requests memorial contributions be made to a charity of ones choice.Kory was born July 10, 1987 in Auburn, the son of David C. and Kelly M. Golden-Rauscher. He was a 2005 graduate of Waterloo High School and a 2009 graduate of SUNY Oswego where he earned a Bachelors degree in Business. While at SUNY Oswego Kory served as President and House President of Sigma Gamma fraternity. After graduation Kory went to work for his father. He began as a laborer, then equipment operator, was able to obtain his Class A commercial driver's license, and eventually assumed the role of Operations Manager of the Pennsylvania Division of D.C. Rauscher, Inc. When Kory was not working he enjoyed golfing, riding his snowmobile and spending time with his friends and family.Kory is survived by his parents; sisters, Jamie Rauscher of Sayre, Penn and Mandee (Kenny) Rauscher-Woodring of Waterloo; his brother, Brandon of Waterloo; four nieces and nephews, Natalee and Xavier Watson, Madelyn and Nathan Woodring; the love of his life, Emily Groce; maternal grandparents, Mickey and Lana Golden; Paternal grandmother, Barbara E. Denton; Great Aunt, Jean Rauscher; several aunts, uncles and cousins.He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Josephine Golden and paternal grandfather, Douglas Rauscher.
