Although Chris had been ill in recent years, her passing was unexpected. Chris graduated from St. Anthony of Padua High School in Syracuse and the State University of New York at Geneseo. She had been a teacher at various schools in the Finger Lakes Region. Chris was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her beloved husband, Jack of Shortsville; her sons, Scott and Danny; Danny's companion, Erica Tillman, all of whom cared for Chris in recent years. She is also survived by her parents, James and Dorothy Pastella of Syracuse; her sister, Linda (Thomas) Quinine of Baldwinsville; aunt, Bettie Pastella of Syracuse; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
