Mildred M. Pierce, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, 90, passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at the Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at St. Patrick's Church, Mechanic Street, Cato. Burial will be in Cato Union Hill Cemetery.

Millie was born on March 4, 1923 in Red Creek, a daughter to the late Patrick and Mary Josephine Wright Tighe. She worked at the very first Wegman's Market in Rochester and at Kodak prior to ther marriage. Millie enjoyed gardening, baking, spending time with her family and traveling, especially her trip to Ireland with her sister and brother-in-law. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Cato for over 40 years.
She is survived by her three children, William (Susan), of Lysander, Julie (James) Dillon, of Cato, and Dennis (Susan), of Cato; 11 grandchildren, Amy, Jim, Ben, Dan, Katie, Carrie, Amanda, Emily, Karen, Jackie and Tim; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Carolyn Welch, Barbara Schmidt and Katherine (John) Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, Elmer Pierce in 1957; and sister, Eileen Pardington in 2013.
