Marian ( Quance) Williams Tank

Newark - Marian (Quance) Williams Tank, 94, entered eternal rest on Thursday (October 17, 2013) at her home. Family and friends may call Tues day (Oct. 22) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a funeral service following at 2 p.m. at the Norman L. Water man Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery. In memory of Mrs. Tank please consider a donation to a charity of choice .
Mrs. Tank was born the daughter of the late Bert and Lavina (Norris) Quance on Tuesday, March 4, 1919 in Newark, NY. She was the oldest of seven children and the only daughter. Mrs. Tank worked at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospi tal as the Snack Bar Man a ger. She was an excellent baker and made many wedding and graduation cakes over the years. She was an excellent seamstress and she enjoyed flowers and vegetable gardening.
Mrs. Tank will be remembered by her youngest brother, Peter (Shirley) Quance of Roch es ter; cousins Hazel Burton of Clifton Springs and Caroline Patchett of New ark; six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Mrs. Tank was predeceased by her husband Harold Tank; son Ronald Williams and daughter Sylvia Martin.
