Seneca Falls - John F. Pagano, 95, of Hoag St., Seneca Falls, N.Y., died Sunday (October 13, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, N.Y. Family and friends may attend a Graveside Service for John on Friday (October 18) at 11:30 a.m. at St. Columbkille Cem etery, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 25 Center St., Waterloo, N.Y. 13165.
John was born in Seneca Falls on September 27, 1918, the son of the late Joseph & Angelina Ferrara Pagano. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was retired from the former Seneca Falls Machine Co. He, also, had been a school crossing guard for 25 years and had detailed many automobiles for local residents over the years. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Seneca Falls and the Seneca Falls Knights of Columbus, Council #992.
He is survived by: his wife, Lena Giovannetti Pagano, of Seneca Falls, whom he married on July 6, 1946; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, including, Pam (Bruce) Bator of Frederick, Maryland, Nicole Widell of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Andrea (Peter) DeVivi of Waterloo, N.Y.; special great-great-grand niece and nephew, Ruby Mae DeVivi & Mason Bator.
In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by: four sisters, Florence Pagano, Olympia Ryck, Anna Mastrolio, & Frances DePasquale; and eight brothers, Augustine, Gerald, Anthony, Orlando, Louis, Frank, Joseph, & James Pagano.
