Barbara Elliotto, 67, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday (May 9, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital. Friends and family are invited to call Sunday (May 12) from 3 to 5 p.m. at Mull Funeral Home, 113 Virginia Street, Waterloo. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Brian Lowry officiating. Burial will be private in Saint Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Barb's family request memorial contributions be directed to either Second Chance Dog Rescue, 804 Stone Church Road, Waterloo, N.Y. 13165. Barb was born in Waterloo on December 24, 1945, the Jennings "Christmas baby," the daughter of the late Jesse C. and Marion L. Landis-Jennings. She was a 1963 graduate of Romulus High School. After high school Barb worked at WT Grants Store in Waterloo where she met her husband Al. After her marriage to Al she worked as a receptionist at the Seneca County Community Counseling Center for over 20 years. Before her retirement Barb worked for Waterloo Central School. She enjoyed cooking and being with her friends at the Seneca County Office for the Aging. She was a devoted mother and loved spending time with her family. Barb is survived by her daughter Debra E. (Hassan Cora) Elliotto of Waterloo; grandchildren Duvanté and Ana Cora; a special companion, her dog, Stella, which was adopted from the Second Chance Dog Rescue; a sister, Eleanor L. (Harold Snyder) Jennings of Seneca Falls; brothers, Robert (Beverly) of Waterloo and Allan (Alberta) Jennings of Romulus; brother-in-law, William (Esther) Elliotto of Waterloo; her special friend Maxine Norberg; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Barb is preceeded in death by her husband, Albert, who passed away December 9, 1981; a sister, Elsie Szymanski; brothers Ronald and Lawrence Jennings.
