NEWARK - Richard P. Ramph, 80, of Norsen Rd. died Wednesday (April 24) at Demay Living Center. Friends may call Saturday 2 to 5 p.m. at Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home, 103 Maple Ct., Newark, where services will be held at 5 p.m. Burial in Fairville Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a

charity of one's choice. Dick was born in Lyons on September 4, 1932, son of Dewey and Marion Hartnagel Ramph. He was a graduate of Lyons High School class of 1953. He worked at Bloomer Bros. for ten years. He retired from Mobil Chemical, also Huntsman in 1994. He was a veteran, served in the Marines from 1953-1956, a life member of Newark American Legion, past Fire Chief of Fairville Fire Dept., where he served over 50 years, and was a member of Northern Central Fire Assoc. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, camping and playing cards. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Barb Klahn Ramph; two sons, John (Evelyn) of Newark, Ronald (Patricia) of Texas; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Jean Raes & Alice (Jim) Klahn, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by son, Donald in 1973 and sister Doris (Robert) Klahn. www.pusaterifunerals. com
