CLYDE - John W. Laribee, 38, of Glasgow St., passed away unexpectedly April 24, 2013. Family and friends may call Sunday (April 28) from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home, Inc., 32 State St., Seneca Falls. A celebration of John's life will be Monday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Grish, Pastor of the Tyre United Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Spring Brook Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The Kirk Casey American Legion Post #366 Honor Guard will conduct military services at 7 p.m. Sunday evening.

He was born in Waterloo, the son of Thomas L. and Dorthea M. Del Papa Laribee on December 6, 1974. John spent most of his life in the Waterloo-Clyde area. He worked for several contractors in and out of the area. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. A member of the Finger Lakes Moose Lodge # 823 in Waterloo. John was an avid camper, hunter and fisherman. Cooking was one of his passions and he loved his Denver Broncos Football Team.
He is survived by his father, Thomas L. (Roberta) Laribee; his mother, Dorthea Kline; children, Caleb Laribee, Fla., Nathan Laribee, Va., and Brandon Curry of Va.; brothers, Robert Laribee and Brian Del Papa of Waterloo; step-brothers, Scott (Donna) Arnold of Savannah, Jeff (Beth) Arnold of Geneva, Kelly (Marcy) Arnold of Waterloo, Russell (Stephanie) Kline of N.C. and Jeffrey (Holly) Kline of Elbridge; step- sisters, Susan (Bob Cook) Updyke of Seneca Falls, Stephanie (Mike) Nicpon of Cayuga, and Sherry Colella of Auburn; grandfather, George C. Laribee of Waterloo; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend Victoria Hess of Clyde.
Predeceased by his grandparents, Marie D. Laribee, Joseph and Mary Del Papa; and his step-father Russell Kline.
