Kenneth L. Potter World War II veteran CANANDAIGUA - Kenneth L. Potter, 88, died on April 16, 2013, at House of John in Clifton Springs. Kenneth was born on Dec. 18, 1924, and was the son of John and Hattie Potter. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama, class of 1942, and was a World War II veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mary; stepdaughter, Mary; three grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; 27 great-nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and special friends. He was predeceased by five brothers, Harold, Walter, Floyd, Robert and Charles; and three sisters, Mabel, Alberta and Elizabeth. Friends may call on Friday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at United Methodist Church, 12 State St., Manchester. Funeral services will follow at noon at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenneth's memory may be made to United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 25, Manchester, NY 14504; or House of John, 14 Spring St., Clifton Springs, NY 14432.
