GENEVA - Helen C. Magill, 79, of Geneva passed away on Monday (April 8th, 2013) at the Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday (April 14th) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Monday (April 15th) at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery in Seneca Falls.

Helen was born on July 14, 1932 in Seneca Falls the daughter of the late Clarence and Anna Kuryla Magill. She was a graduate of Mynderse Academy in Seneca Falls and served in the US Navy. Helen was a long time Federal Employee retiring from the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua in 2001 with over 30 years of government service. Helen was a world traveler who traveled extensively all over the world visiting 57 countries, some several times including Europe, South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. She enjoyed the company of her many area and worldwide friends and had encountered six total eclipses.
Helen is survived by her husband; Ali Soliman of Geneva; brother, Richard Magill of Seneca Falls; special cousin, Molly (Dave) McNicholas, Sr. of Geneva, many other cousins who loved her dearly; very close friends, Edgar Kemp and Peter Guy, both of Geneva.
