Gorham Voters Asked To Approve More Alcohol Points Of Sale

Town of Gorham voters have a chance to approve new outlets for alcohol sales when they head to the polls Tuesday. Right now they can only purchase beer in convenience stores for off-site consumption. Town Supervisor Fred Lightfoote tells us are three questions on the ballot. One would permit tavern sales.

Restaurants would be given a chance to apply for a liquor license.

Seasonal accommodations are being considered, too.

The west side of the town borders Canandaigua Lake. Lightfoote feels these measures would open up the chance for businesses who serve tourists.
