He's not done yet. Cayuga Community College president Daniel Larson is sticking around a couple weeks longer than expected. Larson, who announced earlier this fall he would retire today, will stay on at least until November 18th. That’s the earliest date an interim president will be approved. The leading candidate is Doctor Gregory DeCinque, formerly the president of Jamestown Community College. The next steps in the hiring process are to get DeCinque’s hiring approved first by the College’s Board of Trustees, and then by the SUNY Board of Trustees at its meeting on November 15th.
Dr. Daniel Larson
Larson will talk to Joe Salzone Friday morning on the Finger Lakes Morning News on 98.1/1590 WAUB.
