Auburn 7-11 Robbed

The Auburn Police Department needs some helping in tracking down the man who held up the 7-11 at the corner of State and Perrine around 4:45 Wednesday morning. The clerk told officers a black male  subject entered the store and demanded money. There are reports that the man used a machete in the robbery, but Captain David Delfavero says they can't be sure.

The clerk surrendered the cash drawer and the man ran out the front door and down State Street. Detectives have the following description of the suspect. Black male; 5’9’ tall; medium build and wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark pants, an orange billed hat and a red bandanna covering his lower face.

Contact Delfavero at 255-4705, and Detective Chris Coopper at 255-4706 with any clues you may have.
