Bye bye orange cones, nobody is gonna miss you. Orange cones have been a familiar fixture on South Main Street side walks in Canandaigua for over 2 years now. In 2011 NYSEG dug up 100 year old gas lines and replaced them. After that the city spent months drawing up a new Street Scape Plan.
Assistant City Manager Bryan White says the cones go away Friday as the renovations are wrapping up. Among the noticeable improvements street level planters.
The project tab 1.7 million dollars.
