Cayuga CC Considering Former Jamestown President

As the search continues for an interim president of Cayuga Community College, the Board of Trustees is taking a closer look at one particular candidate. Jeff Edwards, chairperson of the Board, tells Finger Lakes News Radio a familiar face in the SUNY system will be on campus today.

Doctor Greg DeCinque recently retired as president of Jamestown Community College after serving nearly two decades. Edwards says DeCinque would not be a permanent president.

The interim president would reign for at least one full year. Doctor Daniel Larson is retiring November 4th, but Edwards says Larson has agreed to stay on longer if a decision has not been made by then.
