Three Rescued from Overturned Fishing Boat on Keuka Lake

Information has just released by the Yates County Sheriff’s Office of a rescue that occurred on Keuka Lake last Saturday. 

The Sheriff’s Marine Patrol was dispatched to an emergency call on West Lake Road for an overturned aluminum fishing boat with three people in the water. All three men were retrieved safely and their boat, fishing equipment and motor were all recovered and taken to shore.

Two of the three men, who were all from the Bronx, were ticketed for not having life jackets with them.
