Ontario County Public Health will conduct just one flu shot clinic of its own this year instead of the usual five at mulitple locations around the county. Department Director Mary Beer says there hasn't been as much demand of them in the last couple of years since your corner drug store can now offer vaccines.
The Health Department will continue to take the lead in promoting the benefits of flu shots. The County's lone clinic will be at the Safety Training Center in Hopewell. The shot costs 30 dollars, and your insurance can be billed.
