Auburn Remembers 9/11 Attacks

Tomorrow mark twelve years since the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. Auburn Mayor Michael Quill says the city will pay tribute to those killed that awful day in 2001.

Quill says the memorial is a display of solidarity.

Nearly three thousand people were killed when hijacked planes smashed into both towers of the World Trade Center in downtown Manhattan and part of the Pentagon in Washington. A fourth plane crashed in a Pennsylvania field when passengers overcame their killers.
