Cayuga County Gets Border Security Money

Cayuga County will get 99 thousand dollars from the Department of Homeland Security as part of a border protection program. The funds, part of DHS's Operation Stonegarden program, were announced Friday by Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer. The grant will go towards facilitating cooperation between law enforcement officials and agencies who jointly work to secure the United States border.
