The Yates County American Red Cross office will close its doors for good September 4th. A decision was recently made by the board that oversees Red Cross branches in Western New York. The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Their network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas. Yates County Executive Director Carol Oswald tells us more.
Oswald emphasized that Red Cross services to the Yates County community will continue.
The Yates County Chapter of the American Red Cross serves the communities of Barrington, Benton, Dundee, Italy, Jerusalem, Middlesex, Milo, Penn Yan, Potter, Torrey, and Starkey.
