Seneca County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with the June 23rd 2013 murder of William “Bill” Kenny.
At 0248 AM on 06/23/2013, Deputies responded to a shots fired called in by neighbors at 827 Hecker Road, Waterloo, New York. Deputies found William Kenny, age 61, the sole occupant of the residence located in a bedroom suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Geneva General Hospital in Geneva, New York where he was later pronounced dead.

On 08/20/2013 at 7:16 PM, Sheriff’s Office Investigators arre sted Ralph J Garafalo Jr., age 57, of 429 West Main Street, Waterloo NY for Murder in the 2nd degree. It is alleged that Garafalo participated in the murder of William Kenny. Garafalo was arraigned in the Town of Lodi Court and was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail. Sheriff Stenberg reports that the Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate this crime. Because of the ongoing investigation further details can not be released at this time. The Sheriff expressed his condolences to the family and friends of William Kenny.
