Sex Offender Convicted in Cayuga County

An Auburn man has been convicted of sex crimes against children dating back to 1995.  43 year old Brian Cox was back in court and sentenced to spend 10 years in prison and 20 years of post release supervision after sexually abusing two young girls. 

According to District Attorney Jon Budelmann the crimes date back to 1995, 2001, 2003 and 2006.  Cox plead guilty to first degree course of sexual conduct against a child and second degree course of sexual conduct against a child. 

Cox will also have to register as a sex offender.
