30 women fronted bands to hit the 12th Annual WR2R Festival is this weekend in People's Park in Seneca Falls. Christine Legott says the idea for the festival, known fully as Women's Rights to Rock, came from her niece, who was 8-years old at the time. Her niece said that since they were in the birthplace of women's rights, there should be a festival hosting female-fronted bands. Legott says they like to promote bands in the area...

Plus the Roller Derby "Finger Lakes LUNACHICKS" will be there all weekend.
WR2R is at People's Park in Seneca Falls, Friday from 4pm to 11 pm, Saturday from 11am to 11pm and Sunday from 11am to 8pm. Admission is free.
