Oaks Amendment Would Reduce Government Paper Use

This November, voters will decide on a constitutional amenment that would reduce the amount of paper flying around the halls of state government.  Sponsor Assemblyman Bob Oaks says the amendment would end the requirement that printed bills be available to lawmakers for three days before a vote.

Oaks says approval from voters is all that's needed for the amendment to take effect.

Oaks was a guest on the Finger Lakes Morning News.
