Alderson Arrested for Protesting Inergy Again

A little more than one week after being sentenced in Reading Town Court for trespassing at the Inergy LP facility on State Route 14, Jeremy Alderson was arrested again Friday on similar charges.

When protestors were told to move back to the shoulder of the road, Alderson placed a chain across entryway gates to the location.  He was arrested by Schuyler County Sheriff's Deputies and taken to county jail.

Alderson was sentenced to pay a 375-dollar fine last week in Reading Town Court but is appealing.
