Interlaken Man Accused of Bigamy

An Intertaken man has been arrested for bigamy. Seneca County Sheriff's Deputies took James Ector into custody for being married to two women at the same time.

Investigators say 38-year-old Ector got a marriage license in Canandaigua in May, then got married in the town of Varick.

Only problem, according to police, is Ector was already married. Ector is charged with bigamy, among other alleged crimes.

He'll be in Varick Town Court on July 10th for the bigamy charge, and will appear in Canandaigua City Court for the other charges.
