Motion To Dismiss Karlsen's Murder Indictment Denied

A motion to dismiss the murder indictment against Karl Karlsen, the Romulus man accused of killing his son, has been denied by Seneca County Court Judge Dennis Bender.

The 53-year old Karlsen, is accused of killing his own son in 2008 by knocking a pickup truck on him.

Next up is a hearing on July 2nd to determine whether Karl Karlsen's statement to police and the recordings by his wife Cindy Karlsen can be admitted as evidence in Karlsen's trial. Seneca County District Attorney Barry Porsch said he will call about eight witnesses at that hearing.
