Waterloo residents get a chance to comment on the proposed school budget at a hearing tonight. Superintendent Terry McNab's proposal calls for spending 36 million dollars, up just under three percent from the current year. The tax levy, the total amount to be raised through school taxes, would go up by a similar amount. The School Board will also introduce the five candidates for three open spots on the board, and will honor the girls basketball team that went all the way to the state championship game as well as wrestler Jake Nicholson, who placed third in his weight class at the state meet. Tonight's meeting is at seven o'clock at the High School.
