Rickeys Honored by Geneva Rotary

A former Geneva couple now living in California has been honored by the Geneva Rotary Club with its Ralph Springstead Award for community service. DeSales graduate Dave Rickey and his wife, Brenda have given money to numerous community groups through their charitable foundation. Dave Rickey talked about two of the organizations they've supported.

In his keynote address, the Reverend Jim Gerling spoke about community.

Also awarded at the dinner at Club 86 were three Paul Harris fellowships, named after the founder of Rotary International, to Rotary President Jim Devaney, Nazomi Williams and Bob Schick and awards to the top members of the Interact and Rotaract Clubs, which are the high school and college versions of Rotary.
