Penn Yan Businessman Killed in Crash

A one car accident Monday night on County House Road, near the County House Woods Road intersection in the town of Jerusalem, resulted in the death of a 68 year old Penn Yan man. 

Douglas Dailey Senior was traveling west shortly before 9 p.m. when his vehicle went off the north side of the road  and struck a tree. 

Dailey was found unconscious and in cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital a short time later. 

It was determined Dailey, the owner of Big Doug’s Meaner Weiner in Penn Yan, suffered a massive heart attack, which resulted in the accident.

 

According the their Facebook page, the business is closed until further notice.
