Geneva, NY— [April 4, 2013] — It’s no April Fool’s joke! Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce will be relocating from the current location at 41 Lake Street to One Franklin Square at 537 Exchange Street, Geneva, on April 15, 2013. The new temporary Chamber Office and Vistor Center will be at the site of the former Gold & Silver Cash Out, on the corner of Exchange and Seneca Streets, across from Community Bank, N.A..
“We need to make this move. The Chamber is sub-leasing from Bob Stivers, who has planned all along to open his wine business at 41 Lake Street. We are grateful to Mr. Stivers for his willingness to share the space, but staying here will not be conducive to either business,” said Elizabeth Winter, President at Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber will be moving on April 15, 2013. During this time, there may be temporary interruptions to telephone and e-mail service. Otherwise, the Geneva Area Chamber telephone number, 315-789-1776; fax machine number, 315-789-3993; and, mailing address, PO Box 587, will remain the same; the only change is to the address of the Chamber’s physical location.
Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce will operate from One Franklin Square until its permanent structure is built on the lakefront, the original location of the Chamber. Crews started work last month on the site of what will become Geneva’s new Visitor and Event Center, and will permanently house the Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce offices.
