Eight people were arrested Friday night by officers manning two fixed sobriety checkpoints.
Those arrested for DWI were in the age range of 25 to 55. In addition, three were arrested for marijuana possession.
More arrests were made on Saturday evening as well. Exact numbers have yet to be made public.
The checkpoints were run by state police and the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department as part of a joint agency countywide DWI saturation patrol.
The checkpoints are continuing to the end of this weekend.
