Four people were injured early in two separate stabbings early Sunday morning.
In Geneva, just after 2 a.m. a fight broke out inside Trotta's bar on Castle Street and spilled outside. Two men were stabbed. One in the chest, the other in the hand. The man stabbed in the chest was airlifted by Mercy Flight to Strong Memorial Hospital were he has undergone two surgeries and is expect to recover.
Geneva Police are looking for 29-year old John McCoggle. They ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 781-1111 or 911.
Seneca Falls Police say two men were stabbed just before 1 am Sunday during a fight at an apartment at 2132 State Routes 5 &20 near the Off Track Betting Parlor.
Both men were flown by Mercy Flight to Monroe County hospitals. Their conditions are unknown. Police have not released the names of the two men that were injured.
Police arrested 60-year-old Alexander Francis who lives in an apartment nearby. Francis is charged with menacing with a weapon, criminal possession of a weapon, assault with a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana. Francis was arraigned in Waterloo Village Court and sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond. Francis is scheduled for a felony hearing in Waterloo Village Court tomorrow morning.
In Geneva just after 2am Sunday, Geneva City Police were called to a downtown bar for a reported stabbing. One victim was stabbed in the chest . A second victim suffered a superficial wound. The Oaks Corners Fire Department set up a landing zone near the Geneva Thruway exit the injured were airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital. No other information has been released.
